About the EU Sustainable Energy Week

The EU Sustainable Energy Awards are organised within the framework of European Sustainable Energy Week. The 20th edition will take place on 9–11 June 2026, bringing the clean energy community together in Brussels and online. This edition will focus on "A clean, secure and competitive Energy Union", reflecting the European Commission's commitment to accelerating the transition towards resilient, affordable, and clean energy systems.

Launched in 2007 by the European Commission, the European Sustainable Energy Week has become a cornerstone of Europe's clean energy movement. EUSEW is a key platform for dialogue and collaboration on EU energy policies, organised annually by the Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER) in partnership with the European Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).

The European Commission has also opened a call for policy session proposals, inviting energy stakeholders, industry leaders, civil society representatives, youth and academia to contribute collectively to the co-creation of the EUSEW 2026 Policy Conference.
