On June 15 2021, the Cobracomp partnership organized its first online event.
The partnership introduced the project & consortium to the wide public, and gave a deeper insight into braided reinforcements for composite materials
Stephan Voskamp from Eurocarbon introduced braiding for the reinforcement of composites and the performance objective of the new reinforcement under development in COBRACOMP.
Pascal Amat from Collins aerospace / Ratier-Figeac, presented the current use of braiding for the reinforcement of turboprop engine composites blades.
Nicolas Martin from EuraMaterials presented the COBRACOMP partnership and the objectives of the project.
