The OEWB creates favourable conditions for the economic development of the wood sector. It provides advice and recommendations to the Walloon government. It focusses its efforts on technical innovation and promotion of the use of hardwood (compressed wood) in structural applications. The OEWB has 3 experts in wood technology, wide industry knowledge, skills in product quality management and expertise in CE-marking.
