ST4W organised the “Innovation Pitch” at the Liège Kinepolis.
An innovation event that gathered about 100 participants to identify new partners, initiate collaborations, and understand the trends and new developments with a focus on IWT, multimodal transport and city logistics.
We presented the projects (link enclosed) and how it contributed to better interconnect physically and digitally the inland waterway transport to the urban last-mile logistics. Other presentations explained the opportunities of using IWT to carry nuclear power plant deconstruction materials as well as the interconnexion of regional networks/initiatives to transport regular flows across regions, increasing the combination of goods and therefore decreasing the IWT cost.
