On April 21, 2022, Ports of Lille and Urby Lille organized a presentation of ST4W project for the students of Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, one of the oldest and the most prestigious engineering schools in France. Looking for green urban logistics solutions, the students were particularly interested in role of urban distribution centres, modal shift, shared logistics services, and digital tracking solutions.
The students had opportunity to visit the Urban Multimodal Distribution Center (CMDU) of Ports of Lille and discuss last-mile delivery challenges with Mr Bertrand LEROY, CEO of Urby Lille.
ST4W Project partners, Ports of Lille and Urby Lille work hand in hand to promote multimodal urban logistics as efficient solutions for cities decongestion and greener last-mile deliveries.
