Experience
In RIVER project, the University of Bedfordshire will mainly be responsible for engine combustion technology development which will experimentally investigate and implement oxyfuel combustion in a diesel engine which will be necessary for CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage). Meanwhile, the oxyfuel engine combustion will be based on HCCI (Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition) combustion for high engine energy efficiency.
