We are looking to recruit a Research Fellow for a research project titled "Improving Resources Efficiency of Agribusiness supply chains by Minimizing waste using Internet of Things sensors (REAMIT)", funded by the Interreg North West Europe (NWE) Programme.

There are three main aspects to the role of Research Fellow: (i) Responsible for managing a central data hub for the project activities; (ii) Performing research tasks related to IoT, big data and analyticsin consultation with the project Principal Investigator; and (iii) Developing novel research relevant to the project priorities.It is essential that the post holder ensures full eligibility of activities and full compliance with Interreg regulations. One day per week of the time will be spent on managing financial and other project management duties of the project, by working closely with the project management and other members of the project team.The post will be supervised by the Principal Investigator. The post holder will be self-disciplined and an excellent communicator and have a demonstrable ability to work as part of a team. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to other activities within the research institutes and the Department as required.
