Experience
UGent takes over the lead of the transnational work on the quality assessment of recycling products from sewage water (A.T2.2). The various methodologies used to assess the quality of the products recovered at different locations with different processes are compared and evaluated. An EU-standard is developed and proposed to EU-COM through e.g. TWG-STRUBIAS (A.LT.4). UGent ensure the coherence of the approaches to assess quality of nutrients recycled from various sources.
