The Interreg North West Europe (NWE) programme organised the event "NWE : Making an Impact" in Tourcoing, in the heart of "la chaufferie", on 4 and 5 December 2019.
This was an opportunity for the 83 NWE projects funded so far to present their results, to reflect on ways to go even further and to exchange and explore potential new collaborations.
This event also awards a prize to the best project, i.e. the one that, according to all project leaders, has the most significant impact.
This year, the EYES project was rewarded. The latter combines education and entrepreneurship with personal support and a digital platform to help NEETs (young people who are not students, employees or trainees) access regular support programmes, enabling them to enter the labour market in the long term.
In this context, the members of the IMAGINE visited the site of one of EYES' partners, the Association of Social Centres of Wattrelos, and participate in particularly enriching workshops and exchanges.
