International Steering Group Meeting

On the 7th-8th of December 2020, the Housing 4.0 Energy (H4.0E) consortium convened for the second virtual Steering Group Meeting of the year, held online in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The international consortium discussed project management, pilot updates, long-term project rollout and project communication. Main points within these themes included the presentation of the H4.0E Guidebook for the construction industry, the H4.0E Ambassadors programme, the introduction of a new partner and equipment specifications and additional requirements for the pilot sites.

Breakout sessions were held to ensure in-depth overviews and partner input on project monitoring, the development of the H4.0E Online Training Course (South West College), findings within the H4.0E business models (TU Delft) and the H4.0E Digital Platform (Open Systems Lab). Within these breakout sessions, partners were presented a live demonstration of the H4.0E training modules, which are to be offered to the H4.0E digital platform users through comprehensive, user-friendly modules. Partners also received a comprehensive update on project communication from EIfI-Tech, including progress and next steps.

The two-day Steering Group Meeting came to a close with a ''digital drink'' (of coffee or water!), which served as an informal session to end the intensive discussions in a light-hearted and uplifting way.
