H4.0E Ambassador Workshop

In order to achieve the long term goals of the H4.0E project, 3 Counties Energy Agency (3CEA) in Ireland have begun the process of reaching out to industry leaders, policy drivers, and relevant stakeholders of the H4.0E project to join as H4.0E Ambassadors. To launch this effort, 3CEA hosted an Ambassador Workshop earlier this April.

The H4.0E Ambassador Workshop, held online on the 14th of April via Zoom, offered participants an update on the H4.0E project and new pilot testbeds. Open Systems Lab also presented the H4.0E Digital Platform currently in development, and the Ambassador Programme was introduced. Attendees were also informed as to what being an Ambassador would entail.

Ralf Kampe, Alexandra Hamilton, and Michael Doran hosted the H4.0E Ambassador Workshop on behalf of 3CEA. Also present from the international H4.0E consortium were Alastair Parvin (OSL), who presented the platform, and Helen Lawrence amongst other staff members from OSL. Invited potential ambassadors including industry leaders, academics, and policy drivers were also in attendance.

As part of the long-term deliverables of the H4.0E project, it is important that stakeholders not connected directly to the project still promote, disseminate and put into use the H4.0E methodologies and practices. To this end, the H4.0E Ambassador Workshop was hosted to spread awareness of H4.0E principles and platform to potential future users, and to invite the attendees to align themselves with H4.0E principles by becoming an Ambassador.
