On 20 April 2021, more than 180 participants attended the workshop on “Alternative energy sources for electrical propulsion systems in inland navigation" organised by the CCNR. Insightful case studies from France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany were followed by a round table, in which the H2SHIPS project was represented by two partners, Hydrogen Europe and EIFER.
A positive review of available technical solutions, ongoing initiatives, and way forward to reach the goal of zero-emission inland shipping!
