Danny Brennan, the Chair of the Network of Inland Waterways Europe (NIWE) will be representing Green WIN next month at the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC) 2019 in Brussels.
We will task him with promoting the way NIWE is helping us develop our Greener Waterways Network and to get the ball rolling as we start a series of presentations to industry, waterways managers, environmental groups and politicians at events over the next two years.

The EWRC https://europa.eu/regions-and-cities is from 7th to 10th of October 2019 and is an annual event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
Green WIN partners will be busy at our Partners' Meeting in Utrecht (Netherlands) that week - but we are sure that Danny will do us proud!
