Hydrogen is playing an ever more important part in the global energy equation in tackling climate change. Northern Ireland is uniquely positioned in the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe to become a leader in hydrogen deployment and technology. Abundant, and in many cases untapped, onshore and offshore
renewable resources, modern gas and electricity networks, interconnection to both Ireland and Great Britain.
This webinar on April 29, 2021 explores the opportunities for hydrogen use and optimisation as part of the wider Northern Ireland Energy transition. Specifically addressing the wider opportunities in large scale energy, sustainable hydrogen supply & demand, scaling up to meet this demand and where Northern Ireland can avail of these opportunities to build environmental resilience, social opportunity and commercial success.
The series of webinars will run from 10th March through to 27th May and will cover such topics as hydrogen optimisation, supply, infrastructure & storage, demand & use and stakeholder engagement.
