Rotor was invited by Build Reuse, a US based organisation to their annual conference « Deconstruction + Reuse » as an opening keynote speaker. Rotor sized this opportunity to present the FCRBE project and results. It was the prefect context to share what is happening in the world of reclamation and reuse in North Western Europe. Established in 1994 in the US, Build Reuse serves as the premier national organisation encouraging the recovery, reuse, and recycling of building materials in the United States. They are also committed to developing social investment and workforce development programs in the deconstruction industry. Their vision is to transform our communities by creating a building industry in which used and excess materials become an asset and waste is no longer acceptable.
