PCG is a research and extension centre for vegetable growing, focussing on the application of new knowledge and technologies in professional horticulture. Research is being done to find out the practical value of innovations and of new revenue models for vegetable growing. Hydroponics is an important part of this. PCG also invests in disseminating and making research results easily accessible to the sector.
