BEST’s main task is to support works committees in realising their rights due to the works council constitution act. Topics concerned are among others: working-time models; mobile working; employee privacy. An important part of BEST’s advisory activities is to guide works committees through the risk assessment of mental and psychological strain and stress according to the Act on Occupational Safety and Security. This in particular includes all matters of implementing new technologies.
