“Clean energy, clean mobility - Integrating renewable energy and e-mobility in clean city development'' is an EU project cluster event that addresses the need for integrating e-mobility and renewables, facilitated by ICT and how these two developments can reinforce each other. The “Clean energy, clean mobility” event on the 5th of June in Flevoland, Netherlands will also serve as the CleanMobilEnergy Mid-Term Conference 2019.
We are at the start of spectacular changes in mobility and energy systems. The CleanMobilEnergy and EV Energy (Interreg Europe) project partners aim to transfer good practices from one region to another and develop action plans for innovative policy, encouraging the integration of sustainable energy and e-mobility in urban areas.
EV Energy is focused toward developing good practice and policies surrounding low carbon mobility, while CleanMobilEnergy will develop and implement a Europe-wide applicable interoperable Energy Management System. The CleanMobilEnergy project's focus is on controlling and optimising multiple energy generation, storage and consumption devices within the city.
Together with the EV ENERGY & H4.0E projects, CME aims to utilise this conference to boost large-scale integration of multiple renewable energy production, consumption and storage solutions.
This conference brings together outstanding examples from Europe, focusing on:
- Large scale e-mobility parking and energy exchange experiences
- Smart EV-charging in the city to ‘un-stress’ the grid
- Energy Management Systems in Europe
- Tools for energy planning
- Developing viable policy and business models
The featured Interreg projects demonstrate the need for an ‘energy systems’ approach in which the energy and mobility sector can produce synergies.
