The EFL Topic Group Construction meeting started with a great site visit to offside housing factory Stewart Milne Timber Systems in Witney (UK).Hosting member of the meeting, L&Q from London, organised the site visit.
At the offsite factory, timber frames are being produced, used for the base of new constructed homes. Production time is reduced by 50% of the traditional construction production time. The participants of the topic group visited both the timber factory as well as the newly created homes.
Later that afternoon, EFL managing director Joost Nieuwenhuijzen, presented Interreg NWE funded project CHARM.
