The exhibition in the shape of a house is a prime example of which biobased materials can be used today, tomorrow and in the future.
Biobased materials: natural and endless use
There are nearly 100 natural building materials in The Exploded View Beyond Building. This exhibition of material show endless, potential material flows that are in stock and are not yet and/or hardly used in the construction world. For example, materials from: food, seaweed, (sewage) water, buildings or even our own living environment. These are materials that already exist, but are still difficult to find their way to the construction site. It also includes materials that have yet to be further developed or scaled up.
The Exploded View Beyond Building
In October 2022, the 'Exploded View Beyond Building' will be dismantled and moved to Kamp C. In the spring of 2023, we will rebuild the installation and open it to the public.
