Three Workshops: Design toolbox. From academic research to design practice

online

10 March 2021 - 10 March 2021

In the frame of the Certification-D project, the Project Partners offer three workshop to transfer the academic knowledge on designing for dementia to SMEs and stakeholders.

The results of the activities conducted in the previous year of the Certification-D project and the results from the evaluation in the Living Labs can be counter-intuitive, indirect or provide only insights that need to be translated in workable and operational improvements for the SME through design support. To support SMEs and stakeholders, the Project Partners will develop design tools custom for the Living Labs to facilitate the transition from insights to concrete advice.

As a first step, three doctoral candidates from TU/e (NL) and LUCA (BE) will host three different workshops to explore and share with SMEs the insights they collected during their academic design research practice. The results will contribute to support SMEs in translating the academic insights in order to understand how to apply them to their own products.

The workshops will take place on March, 10th on an on-line format (Microsoft Teams, Zoom). The registration can be done via Eventbrite for each workshop.
