We are happy to announce that the BioBase4SME project, an INTERREG NWE project, has been extended for 6 months to give even more SMEs the change to benefit of the support of the BioBase4SME activities. The activities are continued in each of the three pillars of the project.
First of all are the BioBase4SME innovation coupons, where applications are still possible till 24/05/2019 on the basis of availability. With these coupons the BioBase4SME project intends to support innovative SME’s in the biobased field to develop their innovative ideas into marketable products. Check on our website how you too can benefit from the following services, which are 50% funded by the project. The support offered through this system can consist of
- scale-up to pilot scale,
- Life Cycle Analysis,
- market research, business plan support,
- feedstock analysis,
- support with social acceptance,
- application testing,
- anaerobic digestion,
The second pillar of support is specifically designed for spin-offs and young SMEs (> 5 years). The third edition of the Innovation BioCamp will take place 5-10 May in Bovendonk, Hoeven in the Netherlands. This Biocamp comprises of a week intensive training, mentoring and peer to peer learning culminating in a pitch to a panel of specialist investors. The Biocamp, which is worth 7.000 EUR, is free of charge for successful applicants. Apply now for this specialist training for you and your business. Our third support activity is to give SMEs the change to collaborate and network. This is best done at the
- Natural Fibertastic event on 18 April in Bergen op Zoom, NL. The focus is on natural fiber based applications, showcases and business cases. Examples will be given of the use of all kinds of lignocellulose fibers in applications like materials, paper, composites, concrete and asphalt.
- Networking can also take place at the workshop on bio-sourced plastics on the 2nd April 2019 in Nantes, FR.
