BioBase4SME is an INTERREG North-West Europe project that aims to support start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by breaking down technological and non-technological barriers to transform bio-sourced research into commercial innovation. The project offers training, “innovations biocamps”, workshops and bio-innovation coupons worth up to € 100,000.
Within the framework of this project, a two-day training held from Monday 5 February to Tuesday 6 February 2018 was organized by AC3A at the Regional Council of Lille des Hauts-de-France. The training sessions focused on the concept of “Social Acceptance”, developed by Axelle Larroumet from Hoblik (speaker of Monday) and Pascal Dagron from AC3A (speaker of Tuesday). The aim was to provide a new methodology for the participating SMEs and start-ups to develop dialogue with their stakeholders.
A dozen participants were able to test the tools of social acceptance proposed by the organisers to identify the means of implementation to engage stakeholders and avoid obstacles in bio-based projects.
The primary objective of this seminar was to train the participants, this mission was fulfilled. Nevertheless, much work remains to be done to interest new companies in the notion of Social Acceptance.
