BioBase4SME Workshop: Bio-based plastic, what's new?

Maison de l'agriculture Atlanpôle La Géraudière, Nantes, France

2 April 2019

Objectives

Bio-based plastics are products which are partially or completely made of renewable raw materials.

Because of growing pressure for the use of more natural or bio-based raw materials and thanks to a rising awareness amongst customers today, these new bio-based plastics have now the capacity to compete with so-called conventional plastics.

But what about this new sector? Is it capable of fulfilling the future needs of the industry?
