It was inevitable with the continuing coronavirus crisis that our operation at Langage was going to be hit.
On 26th March our colleague Jose Ignacio shut down the reactor after around 120 days of our current scenedesmus experiment. In total, since March 2019, we have been been able to operate in total for more than 250 days - time now for the reactor to have a rest!
The biomass grown has now been harvested and will be stored until everything gets back to normal and it can undergo characterisation.
