SEAI is Ireland’s national energy agency. The Ocean Energy Development Unit within SEAI is committed to the sustainable development of Ireland's abundant ocean energy resource and is actively involved in implementing Ireland’s Offshore Renewable Energy Development Plan (OREDP), developing ocean energy test facilities and funding R&D projects across the full range of technology readiness. SEAI holds the lease to test technologies at the Atlantic Marine Energy Test Site (AMETS).
