This week ASPECT will be featured at the NUMISHEET conference in Tokyo, which has been established as a world-class forum in the area of sheet metal forming simulation. During a mini-symposium on the 2nd August 2018, participants will discuss numerical approaches to handle tribological effects during manufacturing. The researchers at Twente University will showcase a first major success in simulating these effects: a tribological model able to predict friction variation with temperature during production.
