Interreg NWE 2021-2027 unveiled
Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) is proud to be among this year’s European Week of Regions and Cities’ partners under the Cohesion thematic cluster. Our Programme, which in the last months has been working on designing its shape for the 2021-2027 funding period, will host an interactive information session: “Promoting a green, smart and just transition in North-West Europe” (session code: 13INFO21539) on Wednesday 13 October, from 09:30 to 10:30 CET.
The session will be an opportunity to discuss how Interreg NWE will support a balanced development and aim at making all regions more resilient Since the industrial revolution, the north-west of Europe has been at the vanguard of industrialisation and economic development on the continent. However, this century of growth came at a cost for the environment and people, and has had consequences on territorial inequalities. Come discuss with our panellists how you can play a part in tackling these challenges, and learn more about the upcoming funding opportunities! Our three speakers will answer pivotal questions to raise awareness on the key features of Interreg NWE in 2021-2027 (geography, thematic orientations, target audiences). They will also highlight how our future programme will strengthen cohesion and cooperation in North-West Europe and be beneficial to European citizens on the ground. 30 minutes will be dedicated Q&A with the audience, so it is your chance to take part!
