TUK holds a department of engineering, natural and social sciences. It conducts international collaborations, successfully participated in projects funded under EU Framework Programs and has gathered experience as coordinator and partner in research networks and projects. The focus of the department of Resource Efficient Wastewater lies in the development and improvement of concepts and process technologies to recover wastewater constituents and use of the energy potential.
