On the 19th of June 2019, the RAWFILL partners organised a workshop about landfill mining within the framework of the conference “Les Déchets Quelles Perspectives? & Quelle Place pour leur Recyclage et leur Valorisation dans la Transition Ecologique et Energétique » in Lyon. The main aim of the workshop was to present the tools developed by the RAWFILL project to encourage stakeholders to launch profitable landfill mining projects. In total, six presentations were given by the RAWFILL partners and associate partners. This event gathered more than thirty participants from Belgium, France and Switzerland. The participants were very enthusiastic about the event. It was also a good opportunity to promote the RAWFILL project and to discuss interesting topics related to landfill mining such as methodological and scientific aspects, landfill mining regulatory issues, financial statements of landfill mining projects, among others.
