Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Potato Europe 2020 cannot take place this year.
The uncertainties linked to the exceptional health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic force the cancellation of Potato Europe 2020 in order not to put participants and exhibitors at risk. The next edition of Potato Europe is scheduled for September 2021 in the Netherlands.

POTATO EUROPE (2nd & 3rd of September 2020) is the place to be for French and international professionals of the potato sector. This biannual international event will take place this year in Villers-Saint-Christophe in the North of France.
15,000 visitors, including 3,000 from 50 other countries, will be present in over 40 hectares of space that will host several events:
- A technical space dedicated to innovation: genetic resources and species’ innovations, diseases’ prevention and crop protection, managing water, fertilisation, cross-breeding, storage, and preserving tubers.
- Conferences on current issues
- 400 exhibitors
- Harvesting, reception, and optical sorting sites
- The commerce space, a crossroads of international exchanges
Arvalis, French partner involved in Interreg North-West Europe project ReNu2Farm, shall take this event as an opportunity to transfer knowledge resulting from the project. Specific dissemination activities oriented towards farmers and recycling-derived fertilizers producers shall be organized. Stay tuned!
