In general:

All Local Authorities are still dealing with the impact of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, which results in delays in their work on the pilots. Furthermore, Ireland is currently in Covid-19 restrictions level 5, which means a lockdown, from the 24th of Dec 2020 until at least April 2021.

The Irish pilot teams are working on detail design, site investigation (Wexford County Council), and tender for construction (Kilkenny County Council and Carlow County Council).
