Participants at the Regionalkonferenz Energie und Umwelt 2018 (Regional Conference Energy & Environment 2018) in Mannheim, Germany will discuss the regional energy strategy and its direction and role in the German energy transition, as well as possibilities to manage it in a decentralized and intelligent way. In addition, opportunities for municipalities within this reional energy strategy will be discussed.
Different interactive workshops will then examine good practices in the fields of municipal climate actions, new technologies to produce and distribute heat, smart energy systems and energy efficiency in buildings and companies.
Housing 4.0 Energy will be presented within the workshop ''building and renovating'', amongst other projects and initiatives such as Energiesprong (carbon net-neutral homes), Wärme Immoflex (heating for homes) and Smart Home.
