Site visit Utrecht: French housing associations and suppliers go on a common trip to benefit from the Dutch experience

Utrecht

21 February 2017

On February 21st 2017, a new learning expedition to the Netherlands was organised. The objectives were to enable French stakeholders to visit real-size EnergieSprong housing in Utrecht and to exchange with their experienced Dutch peers and together as the first calls to tender were being launched.

Around twenty attendees joined the learning expedition to Utrecht. The first part of the trip was dedicated to visiting collective and individual housings of the neighbourhood refurbished through the EnergieSprong approach.

After a lunch break, two Q&A sessions with Dutch EnergieSprong stakeholders were organised in subgroups: one with the representative of a social housing association and one with a solution provider. Housing associations delegates exchanged on good practices to launch the refurbishments and engage tenants, and solution providers exchanged on technical solutions and long-term price reduction. After that, a collective session allowed both sides to exchange on their interrogations and issues.
