The Rivers Trust (RT) is a registered independent environmental charity and the umbrella body of the rivers trusts movement in England,Wales and Northern Ireland. RT and its member trusts play a prominent role in the management of river catchments, working with a wide range of stakeholders, to enhance freshwater resources nationwide. Areas of expertise include diffuse pollution from both agricultural and urban land, on-farm resource management, natural solutions to flood risk management.
