The BONE partners organized in October 2017 and January 2018 two BONE consortium meetings. The first one took place on the 5th and 6th of October 2017 in Maynooth, Dublin at the Spraybase facilities. A demonstration of the innovative melt electrospinning technology was organized. This technology enables researchers to create implants that have the potential to help the regeneration of healthy bone tissue. This created as well the opportunity to organize brainstorm sessions between the BONE partners and the engineers of Spraybase. At the 25th and 26th of January 2018 a second BONE consortium meeting took place at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL). Every partner updated the consortium about the progress within the BONE project, the first preliminary results and enough time was foreseen for a site-visit at the Prometheus facility at Campus Gasthuisberg in Leuven.
