Bernard started his career in the Technical University of Kortrijk as researcher in the field of anaerobic digestion and afterwards managed the services lab “Biogas Labo” of the Technical university.

In 2011 he started the company Innolab as a spin-off from Biogas Labo.

Innolab obtained the accreditation ISO17025 and is certified to conduct manure analyses for the Flemish government.

In 2014 Bernard founded the daughter company Innolab France and together with three other companies started the Croatian Company IPS Konzalting.

For Bernard, the goal in his work and research is to obtain new insights and try to enhance the process and performance under the motto “ the worst results are the most interesting”.
