In this project, the main task of Triboform is to generate the so-called "friction meta-model" based on the advanced friction model generated by the combined work of UT, Falex and M2i. With the technology proposed by Triboform, metamodels based on a large number of combinations of relevant tribological parameters will be generated within minutes, thus saving expensive and extensive experiments to accurately generate the friction coefficients needed in industrial (real-time) simulations.
