Energy retrofitting in residential buildings: Make it child’s play*!

Brussels - La Tricoterie, Fabrique de liens

19 June 2019 - 19 June 2019

*Well, maybe not exactly child’s play but we’ll do our best to provide practical tools for your renovation projects.

Target audiences:

  • municipalities
  • energy agencies
  • craft and trade federations cooperatives
  • one-stop-shops
  • trustee federations.

Over the past couple of years, increasingly not only towns, cities, regions but also private players have been developing and testing solutions aimed at motivating and supporting homeowners and co-owners in their renovation projects.

The workshop programme will give ample room for small group discussions and peer-to-peer exchange! Come share ideas with experienced municipalities, energy agencies, craftsmen cooperatives, one-stop-shops…

Partners in the ACE-Retrofitting and INNOVATE projects will share their expertise, case studies and practical tools for setting up one-stop-shops providing integrated renovation services:

  • Motivating homeowners and co-owners to carry out energy retrofits in single houses or condominiums
  • Developing an energy renovation ‘master plan’
  • Coordinating renovation works with suppliers and service providers
  • Following up on renovation works (energy saving guarantees and work quality)
