Tactile and Gestural Interaction Forum (FITG)

13 & 14 November 2012, Tourcoing, France
One of the main objectives of Plaine Images, the moving images cluster of Lille Métropole, in Cure project is to foster innovation and creativity by developing links between artists, researchers and entrepreneurs.
A dedicated event on this topic will be organised in order to make this idea concrete: FITG 3 event, the 3rd tactile and Gestural Interaction Forum. For the first time, the forum will deal with companies, artists and researchers and will be organised in the Imaginarium, a former textile factory completely refurbished and inaugurated on 16th February 2012 (so-called La Retorderie). The forum will present innovations in the field of interface technologies through lectures and conferences*, a showroom and works of art and works in progress on tactile technologies.
FITG 3 will have a national and European dimension, with the participation of CURE partners. Companies, researchers and artists from different EU regions can directly contribute by answering to the call for proposals or by visiting the Forum and attending the lectures.
This specific call for proposals is organised on 2 main topics:
-    The perception/action coupling
-    Accessibility for disabled persons
